Prepress

Each member of our prep team is an expert at preparing plates or digital files to produce the label you want. All our plates are made digitally now — a much faster, cleaner and higher quality process than the old analog method.

Layout Services

We provide layout, color correction and other manipulation services if necessary. Hourly rates apply for all changes and modifications, so be sure to check your designs and spelling before sending your art to us.

Art supplied in Adobe Illustrator (our preference), Photoshop, InDesign, Freehand or Quark offers a major time savings.

Specialized Equipment & Software

Taylor Made Labels invests in equipment and software to keep our highly trained technical staff on the cutting edge of the flexographic industry.

EFI Color Management

We use EFI Color Management to calibrate the label's colors and produce a proof that gives you a very good idea of how your labels will look when they are printed. Note: some graphics and special effects cannot be shown on a proof.  Color is affected by the stock being used and processes such as lamination can only be simulated on proofs.

Nexus

We use Nexus for trapping, step and repeat, distortion, and setting curves for dot gain. Our skilled Nexus operators provide the presses with the files and plates needed to print high quality Taylor Made labels.
